Founded in San Francisco in 2000, Daft Alliance is an independent music label and curatorial project exploring free improvisation, experimental composition, and the spaces where sound meets other art forms.
Over the years, DA has hosted performances, released a small but meaningful catalog of recordings, and connected with artists working beyond the usual boundaries. After a quieter period, the project resurfaced in Southern California in 2019 and continues to make space for new sounds, ideas, and collaborations.
Daft Alliance also presents Sometimes Music, a weekly radio program dedicated to adventurous listening and music that resists easy definition.
